Friday Favorites

It's Friday, so I thought I would share a few things I am loving lately.  Nothing in this post is sponsored, nor are there any affiliate links.  These are just items I am honestly loving that I want to share with all of you.

1.  Camping with Dogs Hoodie

One of my favorite Instagram accounts to look at is Camping with Dogs.  They have the cutest pictures I have ever seen.  It also makes me want to camping even more than I already do.  In addition, I love their logo.  When they were running a sale I picked up a few things like the hoodie (above), 2 different hats, and a camping mug.  I spent more than I would have liked, but I do like supporting a company I like and respect.

2. Sally Henson Insta-Dry nail polish in Petal Pusher.

While I don't love the brush they use, I do love the color and that is dries quickly.  Something a mom of an active toddler really needs.  Top with Essie's quick dry and I'm set in half the time.

3.  Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven, in Cherry of course.

I have talked about this before.  I genuinely can not express just how much I love this dutch oven.  It is the best investment I have ever made.  I know it costs a lot, but it is worth every penny.  I could honestly get rid of 80% of my other cookware and simply because I use this dutch oven for everything.

4. My new kindle case.  (Verbatim Folio Case with LED Light for Kindle 5)

I highly prefer the reads like paper eReaders, but it does mean I need a light to read in low light areas.  I often forget my portable light especially when traveling.  With my new case I don't need to worry about that as there is a light built into it.  It does use battery when on, however this hasn't seemed to effect my reading time. I do tend to toss it on the charger whenever it gets below a quarter.  The big selling point, aside from the price, was the pretty embossed design on the cover.  The print is subtle and really cute!

5. Melissa and Doug 60 Piece Standard Unit Blocks

This may seem like a strange one to have on here, but I honestly love that we can work together with the blocks.  He loves building tracks for his hot wheels or just making towers to knock over.  The best part for me is hearing him expand his language through play.  We work on counting, shapes, big/little, turn taking, spacial relations, balancing and more.  Learning needs to be fun and we both are enjoying it.  Does it get any better than that?

What are you loving lately?

  1. Your kindle case is so pretty!

  2. I love that hoodie!!! Super cute!

    1. It's a great company! The hoodie is in the thinner side but perfect for cool days.
