The Local Fall festival

We went to the local Fall festival, which was much smaller than it sounds.  They had a few local vendors and some small activities for the kids.  Sadly, I haven't found the time to transfer the pics over to my computer but here are a few from my phone.

This tiny kid is in an outfit given to him last Christmas.  He finally fits into it.
It's a 12-18mo outfit on my almost 2 1/2 year old.
What I'm mainly missing are pics from the random activities they had aside from the corn maze.  They had a table of corn kernels, a haybale maze for little ones, and some tractor tires to climb on.  Bear wondered around from station to station.

Before he got too bored or cranky we moved on to the corn maze.  Sure enough, they ran out of maps when we got there.  We decided to wing and just march on in.  Worst case scenario we would look up the map online on our phone.  10 minutes in and we lucked into finding a small group willing to give up one of their maps to the terribly lost family with the whiny toddler.

We had a perfect evening for this.  Not too cold or hot and not crowded.

For the kids, they had various stations throughout the corn maze where you can make rubbings with a crayon.  Collect all 10 and you get a prize. Sadly without a map in the beginning we missed a few.  We were allowed to go back and look but really a bandana with the farm logo was not enough to send me back in with a tired toddler.

All in all, it was a success.  I look forward to heading to the bigger festival if we are here next year.
